Set during Notting Hill Carnival, Out on the Road follows two sisters racing across West London to catch a Mas band before judging point, forcing them to confront years of distance, identity, and sisterhood along the way. A vibrant, community-driven feature film exploring Carnival, culture, belonging, and reconnection through a Caribbean-British lens. key characters: DESTINY Female | Black Caribbean British | Playing age 24–30 Disciplined, anxious, and determined. A masquerader desperately trying to reach her band before judging point while navigating unresolved tension with her younger sister. FAITH Female | Black Caribbean British | Playing age 18–22 Bold, emotionally guarded, and free-spirited. Prefers sound systems over Mas and moves through Carnival with instinct and confidence.
