Description : đźŽđźŚ´ INTRODUCING CARIBBEANS ECHO ​Caribbeans Connects is launching a brand-new cultural and acting experience bringing Black British-Caribbean history, reggae culture and Caribbean stories to life through improvisation. ​Two actors. No script. One situation. What happens next is up to you. ​Participants will be paired together and given scenes inspired by moments and experiences from Caribbean life in Britain — from Windrush, Notting Hill and Brixton to reggae, sound-system culture, lovers rock, family, identity and community. ​🎥 YOUR SCENE WILL ALSO BE FILMED ​As part of the session, selected performances will be professionally recorded, and participants will receive a free piece of footage from their scene that they can use for their acting showreel, portfolio or social media. ​So you're not only getting the opportunity to perform — you're also leaving with something practical to help showcase your acting. ​And for our launch, we're also proud to welcome: ​🎤 SPECIAL GUEST – REGGAE ARTIST BARRY ISAAC ​Barry Isaac will be joining us for a special speech and live reggae performance during the evening. 🎶🇯🇲 ​WHO CAN TAKE PART? ​🎬 Established actors 🎠Actors returning after time away 🌟 Aspiring actors 🎤 Musicians looking to transition into acting 🙌🏾 Complete beginners ​No previous acting experience required. ​You don't need to memorise lines.
